Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
Taaklist is a platform that lets organizations define, assign and track operational routines (checklists) across their branches. It consists of a web app for administrators and managers, and a mobile app (Android and iOS) for operations teams.
This policy applies to both apps and to the taaklist.com website. For any matter related to your personal data, contact us at s6ecorp@gmail.com.
Taaklist is offered to organizations. User accounts are created by your organization's administrator, not by end users. Your organization decides what information it records and how it uses it in its operations; Taaklist processes that information on the organization's behalf to provide the service.
2. Data we process
User account
- Name and email address.
- Password, stored hashed and never in plain text.
- Organization, assigned branches, role and account status.
Operational information
- Assigned checklists, task responses, notes, and the dates and times of start, completion, review, cancellation or rejection, along with any reasons entered.
- Evidence photos you attach to a task, taken with the camera or chosen from your gallery.
- Activity log of relevant actions: what was done, who did it and when.
Organization data
- The organization's name, legal name and tax ID, and its branches' names, addresses and time zones.
Device data (mobile app)
- Push notification identifier (Firebase Cloud Messaging token) and device platform (Android or iOS).
Technical data
- Technical information about requests to our servers (for example, IP address, date and time), used to operate and protect the service.
We do not request sensitive personal data. The Taaklist apps do not use your location, do not access your contacts or microphone, and do not include third-party advertising or analytics tools.
3. How we use your data
- To let you sign in and keep your session active.
- To show you the checklists assigned to you and record their execution and evidence.
- To send you notifications about checklists that are new, about to start, due soon, completed, cancelled or rejected.
- To let the people responsible in your organization review completed work and consult its history.
- To maintain security, prevent unauthorized access and provide technical support.
We do not sell your data or use app information for advertising or marketing purposes.
4. Mobile app permissions
- Camera: to take evidence photos, only when you choose to.
- Photos or gallery: to choose an evidence image, only when you choose to.
- Notifications: to alert you about your checklists. You can turn them off at any time in your device settings.
To work offline, the app stores a copy of your checklists and any actions pending sync on your device. Your session is kept in the operating system's secure storage. This information is removed when you sign out or uninstall the app.
5. Website, web app and browser storage
The web app stores the session token needed to keep you signed in in your browser's local storage; it is removed when you sign out. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The web app loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers to fetch them.
The taaklist.com website uses the Google Ads tag (gtag.js), which stores cookies in your browser to measure the results of our ads. This tag is not loaded in the web app or the mobile app. You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings and manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.
6. Who we share your data with
Your data is visible to authorized users in your own organization according to their role and branches. We also use the following providers to operate the service, which process data only for that purpose:
- Amazon Web Services: hosting for the website, web app, server, database and evidence photos (United States).
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification service: delivery of push notifications.
- Google Ads: ad measurement on the taaklist.com website.
Some of these providers are located outside Mexico. We will only share information with authorities when required by law.
7. How long we keep your data
We keep information while your organization keeps the service active, to preserve the history and traceability of its operations. When an account is deactivated it loses access, but its history is kept for the organization. Notification tokens are deleted when you sign out on the device or when they are no longer valid.
8. Your rights
You may request access to, rectification, cancellation of or objection to the processing of your personal data (ARCO rights), withdraw your consent or ask for your account to be deleted. You can do so through your organization's administrator or by writing to s6ecorp@gmail.com with your name, your account email, your organization and the specific request. We will respond within the time frames set by applicable law.
9. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls by organization, branch and role, and secure device storage for sessions. No system is completely infallible, but we work to protect your information.
10. Minors
Taaklist is a work tool for organizations and is not directed at minors.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will publish the current version on this page with its update date.
